Neck/back pain since removed my wisdom teeth, 10 PTS for answers?

Pain around the jaw is very common after wisdom teeth removal and this can run down the jawline but never have I heard it related to back and neck pain. If an infection had developed after the extractions then this could spread down the jaw and into the neck causing stiffness and a very hardened area around the jaw. Antibiotics clear the infection temporarily and ease the pain so these would have helped beforehand like you have said however infection will return so the only solution is to remove the cause which is your wisdom teeth and you have done this. 7 weeks is a long time still to have issues connected to the extractions. It could just be coincidence and i know this doesn't help you. Also TMJ is very difficult to diagnose and can take forever to get a correct TMJ diagnosisbut it usually only a jaw pain and not anywhere else. It really does sound not muscular but related to the nervous system in some way? There are major nerves which run down your neck and back such as the sciatic nerve and this can cause arm and leg pain. When i had acute sciatica i only had back, buttock and leg pains, my doctor continually asked me if i had arm pain and i said no, seemingly this is serious if you have arm pain along with sciatica so if I were you I would continue to ask to see a specialist to rule out nerve damage or nerve issues. I truly do not connect this with your wisdom tooth removals.
