Does anybody know if it safe to take herb during pregnancy?

Hi, I am wondering if anybody can tell if it's safe to take herb during pregnancy? I am taking a formula called LIU WEI DI HUANG SAN, and I found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. I am just kind of scared taking it even though my acupuncture told me it is safe to take it but I am still cautious because I had 2 miscarriages already and I don't want to lost this one anymore out of my neglegence. I will appreciate any help for this. Thank you
