Burning, frequent and persistent urination. Uti or IC? Help please!?

I am a 25 year old female and I have leukocytes in my urine. I have visited my physician and was prescribed Macrobid for 3 days and then for 5 days, and Bactrim for 7 days. The burning and frequency of urination remained. I tried acupuncture, but I still have the symptoms. I also tried Tea Tree Oil treatment just tonight. I'm starting to be very anxious and I'm concerned I may have IC- interstitial cystitis. I am going to a urologist in a week to be checked. I was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar situation or knows information regarding my issue. And also if anyone knows of any home remedies that may help assuage some of my discomfort. Lately, I have felt depressed and had difficulty at work. Shining any light on this would be a great help to me. Thanks, Mo
